12-15 January 2016 – A four day conservation workshop was arranged by EFT at the Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro Mausoleum in January 2016. The workshop was attended by architect Kamil Khan Mumtaz, structural engineers from Lahore, representatives of the Culture Department, Government of Sindh, and other experts and university students. The consensus of the workshop was that the collapsed dome can be reconstructed, as the tomb was structurally sound.
